Call for papers: BPMN 2.0 Handbook

Share your expertise and knowledge!

Working with members of WfMC, OMG and other leading participants in the creation of BPMN 2.0, we are assembling the “BPMN 2.0 Handbook.” Planned to be the first in an annual series, it will be published together with a companion CD to feature BPMN supporters/vendors.

We invite papers from members and colleagues in our industry to contribute a paper to the BPMN 2.0 Handbook.

Content guidelines and submission form: http://www.futstrat.com/books/bpmnhandbook_call1.php

Deadline to submit an abstract is September 20. The Advisory Board will make their selections by September 30. If you are selected, your paper must be completed by October 30.

The top rated 20 to 25 papers will be selected for print publication (physical size limitations) with the possibility that further highly-rated submissions will be published in Digital Format only on the Companion CD and in the Digital Edition.

This new annual series will make a significant contribution to the body of knowledge within this industry. The participating authors (and their organizations) receive worldwide recognition for their respective roles as leaders at the forefront of business process technology, its growth, evolution and implementation.

There is no fee to submit a paper and you may submit up to two different abstracts.

As you know, the book will be published together with a companion CD to feature BPMN supporters/solution providers. This CD will contain BPMN and XPDL Verification/Validation files, webinars, videos, product specs, tools, free/trial modelers etc. This gives readers exposure to an even larger resource on BPMN 2.0 and XPDL than a book alone can offer.

You do not have to be a contributing book author in order to sponsor material on the CD. To have your product, service or other material featured on the CD, please contact me directly.

Thank you, Layna Fischer, Publisher
Future Strategies Inc.
http://www.futstrat.com/books/bpmnhandbook_call1.php

Besides that I am interested in developing tools and techniques for evaluating quality of business process models as well. I have a couple of ideas. It would be nice if we can discuss this via this topic.
